826DC hires enthusiastic, creative, and curious interns each fall, spring, and summer. This is an excellent (and now virtual) opportunity to get hands-on experience in youth development, arts education, program design and implementation, nonprofit development and fundraising, communications and marketing, or graphic design. Past interns have created and led their own writing workshops, mentored aspiring writers; attended a book release party with then-Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden at the Vice Presidential mansion, designed books, supported fundraisers featuring CNN journalist Jake Tapper and New York Times journalist Mark Leibovich, participated in our annual peer-to-peer fundraiser Paddlestar Galactica, and more!
