Founded in 2012, Radiant Hall supports Pittsburgh’s community of artists by developing and maintaining affordable studio space. Our mission is grounded in the belief that the preservation of space for artists is the foundation of any vibrant community. Learn more about the position!
 
Radiant Hall operates three locations in the communities of Homewood, Lawrenceville, and McKees Rocks. With a total of 30,000 square feet across 70 studios, Radiant Hall creates stability and security so that artists can work alongside one another in an environment that fosters experimentation, collaboration, and inspiration. Since its beginning, we have hosted over 220 artists and creative entrepreneurs across various disciplines, such as painting, podcasting, or fiber arts. We also provide opportunities for the public to learn about and meet the artists working in their communities through special events and biannual open studios.

Compensation
The starting salary for this role has been budgeted at $70,000, which is expected to increase over time and based on meeting performance and revenue objectives. Radiant Hall offers a monthly health insurance stipend. Radiant Hall offers generous paid leave.

Working Conditions
Radiant Hall is committed to access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, services, programs, and activities. This position requires sitting and/or standing for several hours at a time, repetitive motion activities including typing on a computer keyboard, frequent communication via telephone and/or digital communication tools, and travel throughout Pittsburgh, with occasional regional and national travel with overnight stays. Two studio facilities do not have elevator access, and can be accessed only by ascending and descending multiple flights of stairs. The Executive Director may occasionally be called upon to perform a variety of physical tasks, such as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds unassisted.
