Job Description:
Oakridge Auction Gallery is offering gallery internship opportunities from late July to mid September to assist with auction preparations.
Number of volunteers: 2-3
Timeframe/hours: From late July/early August to mid September (20-30 hours per week; flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
Assist with the storage and organization of auction lots
Assist with taking natural light detailed photos for clients
Assist in tagging lots, staging auction previews
Guide and assist clients during auction previews
Assist team members with tasks as needed
Requirements:
Needs to pass a background check.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Customer service experience and knowledge of databases, i.e. airtable, are preferred.
Knowledge of art and art handling is welcomed, but not essential.
