Communications Associate
Part Time, $18/hour (app. 30 hours/week), transitioning to 1.0 FTE as of September, 2022
Position reports to: Executive Director
Position manages: all creative contractors including but not limited to graphic designers, videographers, and photographers
Position collaborates closely with: the entire TWC staff team, including especially the Digital Strategist, Chief Development Officer, Deputy Director, and Donor and Patron Services Manager
The Washington Chorus seeks an experienced, high-energy, digitally savvy writer, thinker, and creative content maker/doer to join our change-making team as TWC’s first-ever Communications Associate.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this position works closely with our team of entrepreneurially minded leaders to ensure the voice of The Washington Chorus – in words and visual expressions across dozens of internal and external channels – is optimally aligned with our core values, brand architecture and voice, and value proposition, while ensuring content and deliverables are uniquely tailored to the TWC marketing strategy, including aligning to customer segment, channel, and desired outcomes.
This position launches as a part-time hourly role in April of 2022 and converts to a 1.0 FTE full-time salaried position ($45-$53k/annualized salary) of Communication Manager, benefits-eligible, in September of 2022.
