The George Mason University, College of Health and Human Services is launching a search for a Development Coordinator to support the Development Office. About the Department:
The mission of the College of Health and Human Services’ Development Office is to raise funds in support of the students, faculty, departments, programs, and centers within the College. Philanthropic support is garnered through active engagement with alumni, friends, parents, corporations, and foundations to secure gifts through a strategic process of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
 

About the Position:
The Development Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Director of Development and day-to-day administrative support for the office to include calendar/scheduling, purchasing, reconciliations, gift reports and general office functions. This will include coordination between the Dean’s Office and Development Office to support donor meeting and activities including material preparation (background) for donor meetings. The Development Coordinator will provide administrative support for internal and external special events which will include external facing engagements with alumni and donors. The Development Coordinator will provide support for the CHHS student scholarship program to include serving as a liaison with the and (OSA) and Office of Financial Aid to maintain accurate scholarship agreements and distribution of foundation fund to student accounts.
