National Arts Strategies (NAS) seeks Accounting & Operations Assistant.

NAS is seeking an Accounting & Operations Assistant to join our small, highly collaborative organization. As part of the NAS team, you’ll work with our management team to bolster the finance and operations initiatives which enable the organization to support a diverse and international group of arts and culture leaders. This position reports to the Director of Finance & Operations and the President & CEO, and is an integral part of our team, working across initiatives towards successful mission achievement.

This is a full-time position, and our company has adopted a four-day work week. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a half hour for lunch. The starting salary for this position is $50,000 per year, plus the benefits we currently offer, which include health insurance and retirement benefits, sick/vacation leave, ongoing professional development, and flexible work hours.

Responsibilities

Accounting

  • Work with Director, Finance & Operations to support accounting functions and prepare correspondence as directed
  • Maintain accounting files and paperwork

Operations

  • Call and meeting coordination/scheduling for programs and for business development for the management team
  • Maintain office equipment condition, arranging and monitoring necessary repairs

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational ability and good attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM applications
  • Proficiency with accounting software
