  • (NEW!) Folger Shakespeare Library seeks part-time House Manager. The House Manager will report to the Lead House Manager and will work closely with other department staff to coordinate the visitor experience around Folger theatrical productions, events, and programming. This is a weekly-paid hourly position, at a rate of $18/hr. for up to 20 hours per week.   • Theatre Comparison Project seeks a Research Assistant as part of OSCAR- Federal Work Study position. League of Resident Theatre (LORT) comparison project: Goal of providing information to the LORT theatre network, surrounding which theatres are best suited to co-producing including physical layout of the theatre, budget/LORT category and organization mission. This project may be interesting to anyone studying theatre, architecture or arts management. Research Assistant will assist in outreach to theatres in order to gather data, they will also be responsible for data entry and some analysis. Internships

  • (NEW!) Middle East Institute (MEI) seeks interns in a variety of areas for Fall 2023. MEI interns are presented with exciting opportunities to do real work and complete substantive assignments with personal guidance and hands-on training from their supervisors. Starting January 2021, interns at the Middle East Institute will be paid a stipend of up to $500/month based on their hours per week. The deadline for Fall 2023 application submission is August 31, 2023.   • Washington Project for the Arts (WPA) is looking for a Gallery Assistant (part-time internship) to help with the management, promotion, and planning of our events and exhibitions during the year. WPA staff is a small team made up of artists and curators working collaboratively; the Gallery Assistant will play an active role working with the team. T We welcome applications from graduate students, recent graduates, and undergraduate students in their junior or senior year as well as folks beginning their careers in the arts.
