  • The City of Alexandria seeks Recreation Leader IV (Event Coordinator) position. The Event Coordinator (Recreation Leader IV) will work with the Office of the Art’s public programs branch, Events and Public Space Activation (EPSA). You will help implement art gatherings and major events throughout the year from the Waterfront to the West End, while also driving the Mobile Art Truck on a weekly basis.   • Imagination Stage seeks Guest Experience Manager. This position is responsible for supporting the Sales & Guest Senior Manager with special attention to managing public-facing responsibilities. Primary work focuses are front of house, public spaces, scheduling, and fostering a warm and welcoming environment for all guests, including students participating in our summer camp programs and attending our theatre tailored towards young audiences.   • Washington Revels seeks Production Manager for The Christmas Revels. The Production Manager plans and coordinates all production elements for a large scale, multigenerational musical in GW Lisner Auditorium in support of Washington Revels. Hours will be approximately 20 hours per month with a stipend between $6,000-$7,800 as well as more project opportunities throughout the year.   • Folger Shakespeare Library seeks part-time House Manager. The House Manager will report to the Lead House Manager and will work closely with other department staff to coordinate the visitor experience around Folger theatrical productions, events, and programming. This is a weekly-paid hourly position, at a rate of $18/hr. for up to 20 hours per week. Internships

  • Middle East Institute (MEI) seeks interns in a variety of areas for Fall 2023. MEI interns are presented with exciting opportunities to do real work and complete substantive assignments with personal guidance and hands-on training from their supervisors. Starting January 2021, interns at the Middle East Institute will be paid a stipend of up to $500/month based on their hours per week. The deadline for Fall 2023 application submission is August 31, 2023.
