- The Arts Administrator – Events and Marketing will support Day Eight’s programming team in promoting books, coordinating events, and executing marketing initiatives. This part-time hybrid role (20-30 hours per week) involves planning and managing an annual poetry reading series, fundraising events, and an arts journalism conference. Reporting to the executive director, the administrator will split time between remote work and in-person hours at Day Eight’s office in upper Ward 4, Washington, D.C. - Executive Director Choral Arts Society of Washington- Reporting to the Board of Directors and co-leading the organization with the Artistic Director, the Executive Director is the chief administrative and operations leader of Choral Arts. This individual will determine, oversee, and execute the strategic and operational efficiencies of administrative programs and staff. The Executive Director serves as a strategic partner with the Artistic Director to energize donors to invest in Choral Arts and engage new and existing audiences, organizational partnerships, and board members. The Executive Director will work closely with the Artistic Director and the broader community to strengthen and grow the organization’s impact and sustainability. This individual will passionately articulate both the benefits and needs of the organization, engaging directly in robust conversations with constituents and stakeholders. - Arts Administration Internship at American Dance Festival, Durham NC. To Apply: submit a completed application form, cover letter, resume, and two letters of recommendation. ADF arts administration internships are contingent upon passing a criminal background check and completing the Duke University Minors Training Program. ADF will fill out any necessary forms for the completion of credit. Stipend: All administrative interns receive a stipend. Some stipends are adjusted according to the length of the internship. - The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture offers academic appointments more commonly known as internships and fellowships to undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, pre-and post-doctoral candidates as well as professionals and career changers. - Spring 2025 Marketing Internships The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) at George Mason University seeks qualified marketing and communications interns for Spring 2025. This position will work with the CVPA, Center for the Arts, and Hylton Performing Arts Center marketing staff to promote performances, events, and programs. General marketing support including reviewing and editing patron-focused communications and website content and general publicity support including compiling earned media coverage, updating press contacts, and entering events into external calendars.
