Carole Rosenstein will be moderating the Keynote Plenary for the Social Theory, Politics and the Arts conference in Philadelphia at Drexel University on September 4th. The plenary is titled Institutional Philanthropy and Researchers in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy: Fortifying the Bridge and Carole will be joined by fellow arts and culture policy and research experts including:

Social Theory, Politics, & the Arts (STP&A) is an international membership organization of researchers, policy-makers, educators, practitioners, artists, and students that explores arts trends, practices, and policies.
The STP&A Conference is the oldest and one of the most influential academic gatherings in the field of arts management and cultural policy. STP&A participants are drawn from a broad range of disciplines including political science, sociology, economics, law, arts management, arts education, art history, museum studies, cultural studies, education, and policy studies as well as arts managers and artists.
New student MK Sadiq, part of George Mason's inaugural MFA Arts Management Concentration cohort, will also be in attendance and presenting at this conference. His paper is: “Beyond Economic Impact: Measuring the Size and Documenting the History of a Local Area's Creative Industries”.
