Biography
Dr. Quanice G. Floyd is a social entrepreneur, educator, and advocate dedicated to creating equitable spaces in the arts and culture sector. As the Executive Director of the National Guild for Community Arts Education, she champions transformative community arts practices grounded in liberation and social justice. Dr. Floyd's leadership is informed by her extensive experience in arts administration, including her work with organizations such as the Arts Administrators of Color Network. She is also the founder of Pete-Flo Enterprises, a remote holding organization for several initiatives: rooted & rested Coaching, BAAB Culture Podcast, Floyd Consulting Group, Our Politico, and the Creative Disruptors Learning Collaborative. Dr. Floyd’s work focuses on empowering arts of color leaders of the global majority, advocating for racial and class equity, and nurturing creative partnerships. She strives to foster healing and growth in the arts through thoughtful leadership, innovation, and a commitment to community-driven, liberatory practices.
